Please note that the exact rate will depend on your needs and the format and type of document to be translated, proofread or edited.
Translation quotes are based on the number of words of the source document that the client sends me, and proofreading and editing quotes are based on an hourly rate (editing being more time-consuming, it is therefore more expensive than proofreading).
My rates for translation are normally around €0.12 per word (£0.11 – $0.13/wd). But it will depend on the client needs and the format and type of document to be translated, proofread or edited.
In all quotes for translation project, I include a small extra fee for proofreading if made by me. If the project requires an external review, you will be informed and I will make the quote accordingly.
